Innovative Design

 Innovative Design

Here is some of my work as a photographer in the on-campus organization called Innovative Design. Aimed at “making Berkeley beautiful,” I take photos within my team and do some pro bono work for any clubs/organizations on campus that need photography help. Everything I shot was on a Nikon D5500.

Fall 2019 Team

During the Fall 2019 semester—my first semester on the Innovative Design team—I met weekly with my team to go around Berkeley and the Bay Area and shoot. Our goal for the semester was loosely based around photo series, so our team leads urged and helped us photograph with more of a purpose about what we want to convey or represent. Here are some of my favorite photos from the semester.

We were also tasked with reformatting some of our photos into a series, so here are some of my favorite shots reimagined.

Fall 2019 South Indian Society Board Photos

As an Innovative Design photographer, my pro bono job for the semester was to take photos for the on-campus organization South Indian Society. I essentially took headshots and group photos for all board members of the club.

Spring 2020 Team

During the Spring 2020 semester, I similarly met with my new photo team weekly for photo walks and shoots. Unfortunately, the semester got cut short due to COVID-19, but I still captured a few good photos of my team around February.
