GirlForward
My graphic design work for GirlForward, an organization aimed at helping refugee girls in the US. In my role, I worked with the Chicago-based Communications team, creating any graphics or design materials that were needed. My tasks primarily focused on using existing images and creating visually appealing mixed media graphics for posting on social media and the GirlForward website. I was also tasked with taking previously made infographics outlining the organization’s work and making it more visually understandable for the viewer while using new branding guidelines, colors, and typefaces. *Photo credit goes to GirlForward.
During my time at GirlForward, I created a sketch of three girls that I used throughout my graphics. This doodle was used heavily by me and others at the organization, eventually being made into a t-shirt for sale.
